Update & Memorial Day Weekend Wrap Up

Okay, I’ve got a lot to update on, so bare with me!

The Monday after Carter's 3rd Birthday Party was the start of his transition into the Preschool classroom. All last week Carter went in his new class for several hours each day, so that he would get used to his new environment at a gradual pace. He did excellent each day and only brought home good reports(minus one day when he did throw a toy at another child and we did have a talk with him!), which makes this momma very happy!

 
Thursday marked my 29th week in this pregnancy! I've been feeling big and hot and well, just over this whole being pregnant thing honestly lol. But, when I look at it in weeks, it doesn’t seem AS far away...there is a light at the end of the tunnel, I just have to remember that!

Memorial Day weekend was great! It was nice having 3 whole days off. Friday we stayed at home and relaxed. Saturday Mike, Becca and Max came to visit and Carter did SO good with him. He even held him and fed him his bottle, so sweet. He had him cracking up too, just by jumping up and down in front of him and making funny faces/noises. I'm sure he will entertain Callie just as much ;)

After they left, CJ and I headed to VA to meet Brandy & Alan for a dinner/movie night! We went and saw The Hangover 2. It was gross, but funny! I guess I expected it to be gross though!
Sunday we had a wedding to go to so Carter spent the night at my mom's house. We had fun at the wedding, but I was def glad to come home and sleep, lol. I got to sleep in until almost 10:30, which NEVER happens anymore, but I felt so refreshed when I woke up, so it was nice. Monday was very hot out, too hot to enjoy the outdoors, so I made a pit stop at Target, picked up Carter, and then came home. He fell asleep on the ride back so we carried him in and he slept until almost 5:30 (so about 1.5 hours)! I know he had a fun, but exhausting time at my mom's house, so he needed the rest. After that, we just had dinner and an early night.

All in all it was a great weekend. We had a good time with friends celebrating my 26th Birthday on Saturday (Thanks again Brandy & Alan!) and then again on Sunday for Jessica's wedding!
