This year, instead of a big birthday party, we decided to throw Carter a more low key one and take him to Ocean City as his big gift from CJ and I. Well we are so thankful to have great friends, through Denise, that let us use their place for a good price because without them we probably couldn't have gone. And as short of a trip as it was, Carter didn’t know the difference. He was so happy and had such a great time enjoying the beach and being spoiled rotten ;) We left early on Saturday morning (June 2nd!) and stayed until Sunday. Here are our pictures!

I asked him if he remembered this place…. we came here when he was 1. Of course I don’t believe anyone remembers being 1, Lol…. but it was funny to hear his response… which was yes, of course.. typical Carter!

The water was cold, but after a while he got used to it and had a blast :)

The next day (our last day) we headed to the go cart track…. after watching some cartoons ;)
I just snapped pictures of them going around and around. Can you tell how much fun Carter was having?!
Even though our trip wasn’t as long as I would have liked, it was still SO nice to get away! Carter had so much fun and I am so thankful we were able to give him this trip for his birthday :) Next year, I hope to take a week long, REAL vacation somewhere!
