A Short Movie…
FINALLY right? I know that’s what everyone must be thinking, lol! Its been forever since I’ve posted a video, but now that I have this camcorder….I hope to be posting alot more.

Carter’s 2nd Birthday Party
Carter’s party was a total success! Besides the fact that it was supposed to rain all day and we had to move the party inside, everything came together perfectly (with lots of help from our family, that is!) It didn’t even end up raining after all so the kids got to play outside and enjoy the weather. Almost everyone came and Carter had so much fun playing with all the children.
Thank you Denise & Carl for hosting such a wonderful party, it really couldn’t have been done with out you guys! I also want to say thanks to everyone who came out, you made his day so special! And for those who couldn’t make it-we missed you : )
The morning of the party we cleaned and set up everything. Carter took his nap around noon and woke up about 30 minutes before 2pm so he was well rested by party time. CJ asked him “Are you ready to party?” and Carter goes “I ready for party, yay!” Ha, it was the cutest thing! He usually wakes up grouchy so I was happy he woke up so excited.

Ready to open gifts after the cake (which he didn’t eat!) I guess it was all the excitement because nearly every mom at the party said the same thing “I can’t get him/her to eat anything!” They were all having too much fun I guess. Thanks again everyone for all the amazing gifts, also! Carter loves them all, they are all so nice :)
After gift opening, it was back outside to play some more! It was really the best party I could’ve hoped for! I know Carter had a great time, we all did :) I still can’t believe its over already, gosh! I don’t even want to think about the # 3, oh my goodness..

Birthday Part I
Yesterday I left work early so that I could bring cookies & cake to Carter’s daycare! On the way down to Indian Head I just kept thinking, “Wow, my child is 2!” I guess I’m still in denial that two years have gone by already, lol!!
When I got there, Carter was so excited to see me. All the children wanted the iced sugar cookies I brought, but I wasn’t surprised. All kids love sprinkles ;)
MMMM…He said “Mommy, its yummy!”
Funny story, on our way out of the daycare….Carter was saying bye to everyone and he saw the lunch lady. He knows her by name because she brings the food everyday, lol!! Well, he goes “Bye Miss Jo-Jo” I thought that was so sweet that he called her “Miss”.
When we got to the truck, I realized that Carter had a major blow-out in his diaper! I called Tara, who lives right down the street, and asked if we could come by so that I could change him. I DID NOT want to do it in the car! Of course, she said sure, so off we went!
After I cleaned him up…..Carter & Kaiden played for a while before we headed home. I didn’t get any pictures of them playing together, but Tara did. I did, however, get a shot of me and the birthday boy :)
When we got home, Carter, Grammy, & I played outside while CJ cut the grass.
AND, I know my birthday isn’t until next weekend, but CJ surprised me with this when I got home……
Its the Flip Camcorder I’ve been wanting :) Did I mention I love my husband? lol!
