Carter's 4th tooth came through on Saturday (4/25) ...that makes two on bottom and two on top :) I dont have any pictures of his teeth right now because he is a little rascal and moves around so much I can never get a good shot!!! I guess I need a better camera! I will put up some new pictures soon though.

Here are some pictures from our day. We pretty much just hung around the house all day. Unfortunatly we didnt make it to church because we got a late start, but I guess that happens sometimes when you have a baby!! Family came over and we had a nice dinner. It was a good day :)

Carter said Mama last night, FINALLY! He only said it a few times, but it was great anyway. I dont have any pictures with me to post here at work, but i have a TON of pictures at home. hopfully tonight i can put some up!! He is getting so big. Next month is his 1st birthday :) I STILL cant believe he will be 1 already!

As for other news.....

Most of our family & friends know how hard it has been to get Carter to sleep through the night. well, after 10 LONG months he is finally sleeping through the night :) As a newborn Carter had Colic and that lasted until he was almost 4 months old...that was hard let me tell you! But he never slept more than 4 hours straight at night. From 4- 6 months old he slept better but, was still waking up at least once in the middle of the night. After teething started it was all over from there....he started waking up SEVERAL times at night, wanting to sleep in our bed. This lasted from about Christmas until March! So finally the day before his 10 month old birthday CJ & I both decided we were going to give the cry it out method a try! Both of us were exhausted and willing to try just about anything to get some rest and help Carter sleep better too! We were both hesitant to try this method because neither one of us wanted to hear our precious little boy cry, but after only 30 mintues of crying a miracle happened! He fell sound asleep and slept the whole night through, Im talking 10 hours straight! From that night on Carter has slept through the night :) He falls alseep between 7:30 and 8 and I have to go in and wake him up for daycare. Sometimes he falls asleep by 7 if he hasnt had a good nap during the day. This is a complete turn around from what I used to go through every night with him. Somtimes I would have to rock him for an hour before he would fall asleep. So anyway, we are so happy about all of this and he is a much happier baby now too. Also, the next morning after our first night of peace, lol...Carter woke up to a brand new top tooth :) The top left tooth poked through on his 10 month old birthday!! I can see the second one under his gums but it has yet to come out. It will soon I hope. And lastly.....Carter has been crawling since march 10th, but about a week before Easter grammy got him a little Mickey Mouse push train that he can ride on or push while walking. Well, on Easter (4-12-09) he mastered this and has been pushing it around the house ever since!! I really feel like he will be walking by his 1st birthday =) He is SOO much fun at this age, I wish he could stay this way forever. I am behind on alot of these posts because I have been trying to put videos of him crawling and walking on here but its not working. I will keep trying and hopefully will have everything up to date soon.....bye for now ;P

Ryans graduation party & Daddys birthday

It was a beautiful day :) Today is also Daddys 26th Birthday so tonight we are going to go out for a little bit to celebrate!! But back to day, we headed over to the party around 1ish and hung out for a while! Everyone was making over Carter :) He has changed alot since some of the people there had seen him!!! We took him outside to play on the swingset, it was such a nice day out, he really loved it!! He is getting SO big....he crawls everywhere now and is even "cruising" on furniture, lol!! I cant believe he will be 1 next month!

A Sweet Angel from Heaven <3
God is SO Amazing :) Everytime I look at my sweet son, I say that to myself! I sit and stare in awww of him and how perfect he is to me. I never would have thought 2 years ago that I would come to be SO blessed in life. That I would be so Head-over-heals in love with my beautiful son. MY Son, I have a son. To be able to say that out-loud is amazing! Alan & Brandy have just been blessed with a son too! A gorgeous little boy, Ryder Marsh. A Gift from Heaven. A perfect little person that God made just for them! Thank God for him!! He is SO loved already. He doesnt know it yet, but he will!! There is SO much more I could say about this family of 5..thats right, I said 5 : Alan, Brandy, Ryder, Beasley & Bubba :) but they know how much we love & care for them! We will always be there for them no matter what. CJ & I have such a GENUINE friendship in them...... and friends like that are hard to find! We are SO Lucky to have you guys :)

New Things

I have been really slacking on puting updated posts on here these last few months :( BUT that will change I promise!! I dont have any pictures to post right now because I am actually at work and dont have my camera. I just want to write about all the NEW things Carter has been up to these last couple months! First, He is on Stage 3 foods now and also eats alot of people food. He LOVES big people food :) He has tried many different things like; Brocoli, potatoes, bread, noodles, Graham crackers (he loves these), biscuits, mandarin oranges, ham, yogurt, cheese, and those little "Puffs" cookies Gerber makes!! He has grown so much since Christmas! He can chew food now, well, gum food...haha!! Its Crazy. Developmental wise, he has changed ALOT! He can clap his hands when you tell him too, he can pick up little foods with his fingers and feed himself, He can crawl forward and backward, He can stand up while holding on to something, He can hold his sippy cup and drink all by himself, hold a bottle (although, he is pretty lazy when it comes to this) AND he even throws little fits when he doesnt get his way! He is also at the age where seperation anxiety kicks in and BOY has it! When I leave a room that he is in he SCREAMS!! Poor guy, but its cute because that just means he misses me :)

When it comes to Growth he is a big boy now! He is 19.6 lbs, and almost 28 inches long! He has 2 bottom teeth and I really do think the 2 top will be coming in VERY soon! He is really growing up so fast, next week (March 21) will be his 10 month old B-day! I cant believe its been 10 months already :) He is our little Blessing and brings SO much Happiness into our lives everyday! Anyway, thats it for now!!I will have LOTS of pictures to post later to make up for not posting in a while. Have a great day!

Today we went and got 'Family' pictures taken at The Picture People, in the mall. These are our first professional pictures of Carter and us! I wanted to get 6 month pictures done, but we ended up having to wait because they can be very expensive!! I am happy to finally have these and I think they turned out beautiful!!

Christmas 2008
