Our Memorial Day Weekend!

Well, our Memorial Day weekend was spent mostly outdoors, soaking up the sun and spending time with family and friends.

Saturday morning Michele, Brian and Maddy stopped by to visit before leaving to head home.

Carter 4, Callie nearly 10 months, and Maddy 17 months.

   

Saturday afternoon, we dropped the kids off at my moms for a sleep over so we could go to Justin’s Birthday/Memorial Day cookout! We had a good time hanging out and catching up with everyone. Then on Sunday we went and got the kids and hung out at home. Monday we had fun outside playing in the sprinkler and Callie got to wear her new bikini for the first time!

       

            

Overall we had a great weekend.

‘Just Because’ Pictures!

 

Today decided I wanted to try and get some nice outdoor 4 year old pictures of Carter for his birthday…..

These are what I got. The kids tried their best to cooperate, but really all they wanted to do was play, not pose for me ;) So, I got what I could.

 

Carter’s 4th Birthday!

Its hard to believe 4 years have passed since this sweet little boy was just a baby…..

  

And now look at him! He has his own personality, with his own way of thinking, way of talking, things he likes and dislikes… he is growing up so fast!

 

 

 

 

I swear, if I could turn back the clock, I would in a heart beat. Just to relive one day with him as a baby…..To smell his sweet baby smell, hold him tight in my arms and his legs not wrap around my waist.

  Having children and watching them grow up is truly one of life's most amazing blessings. I Thank God for mine everyday!

 

This year we didn’t plan a big party. I didn’t even send out invitations….. We planned a small gathering with close friends and family because we decided to make his big birthday present a trip to Ocean City this year. He has been asking to go for a while now and with Denise’s friend at work that has a condo there, we jumped on the idea. That post is following this one…lots of pictures to come…

Back to the party though, it was small, but everyone had a good time. Especially the birthday boy and that was the most important thing!
