Sunday continued…

 

Sunday morning I posted a recap of the weekend and ended it with GO SKINS…well, we all know what happened with that :( But it was the 1st game and hopefully we’ll win the next one! Well…..Blake, Tara, & Kaiden ended up coming over to watch the game and I got some cute pictures of the two boys playing :) They played so good together…for the most part, lol! Carter must be going through a phase or something because anytime Me, CJ, Grammy or Grandad tried to hold Kaiden…Carter got VERY jealous and would start to cry!!!! I guess we’re not ready for a little brother or sister yet, huh!! haha!  Here are some more pictures from Sunday afternoon!

Our Weekend…

Here is a recap of how we spent it :)

Friday we hung out at home and relaxed! Grandad took Carter for a ride on the Mule and then we had dinner and Carter went to bed around 8. Mommy and Daddy stayed up to watch a movie & then we also went to bed because Daddy was going hunting with his friends the next day EARLY :) They Goose hunting down by the pond on our farm!

Then on Saturday…Carter went with Grammy to visit Nana for a couple hours and Mommy and Daddy went to Walmart. When we got home Carter & Grammy came soon after and he had something new to show us! Nana gave him his own Vacuum :) He loves it soo much! You all know this is one of his favvorritte things, lol

As much as he loves to clean, he also LOVES to make messes too …

Then it was dinner time, yum! Carter was soo proud that he was using his spoon to pick up his peas haha! Look at this face, its priceless! && look at those teeth!

       

Sunday morning!! Happy again :-) He tried Scrapple this morning too and loved it! He also ate a waffle, lol piggy!

  PS.. Carter’s 8th tooth poked through on Saturday :) Now he has 4 on bottom and 4 on top!! My baby’s growing up ;*)

Today we are just going to hang at home and watch the game! GO REDSKINS!! Hope everyone has a good Sunday!

Today was a nasty day outside, but it was a good day :) afterall it is Friday!! Those are always good in my book, lol! anyway, CJ took some cute pictures of Carter from tonite, I will put them up later on tonight or tomorrow morning! But until then, here is a cute video I found from this summer!!

Carter’s daycare sends out “News Letters” every few months, but this month is special ;) THIS month Both Mommy & Daddy && Carter are in it! About 2 weeks ago I posted that we were going to the CDC’s End of Summer ice cream party they were having! Well, they gave thanks to all the parents that came out…they are always so happy when parents participate as much as possible :) Also, Last month Carter finally became a “permanent” classmate in Pre-Toddler Room 2, so they made that BIG announcement!!

Catching up ;)

This post is all about catching up on some things from the week! Carter is doing alot better FINALLY and I am so happy!! But, this whole week has been back and forth! One minute he would seem better and the next he would be miserable again :( Its been hard because he was really whiney and needy/clingy…plus, it was affecting his sleep at night which in turn affected mine!! He is still acting alot more clingy than he usually does. He wants to be picked up ALL the time and gets frustrated easily with things! However, he is still teething and on Tuesday 9/1 he got 2 teeth in one day!!! His 2nd side top tooth came through and his 3rd bottom side tooth! SOO, now he has 7 teeth!!! NOO WONDER his attitude hasn’t been the greatest these last few days. An ear infection and teething pain at the same time…GEEZ!! I believe the 4th bottom tooth is going to pop out any day now too, I can see a white spot but it just hasn’t broke the gums yet. Anyway, here are some pictures from the week! I didn’t take pictures daily like I normally do because I was exhausted for the majority of the week, but here’s what I got :)

Michelle came to visit on Sunday!! She lives in New York so anytime she comes down is great :)

On Monday I took Carter back to his regular doctor because I was not happy with how the Dr. at Patient First checked him on Sunday! He did NOT do his job and I will not be going back there again! I am glad I didn’t listen to him either because Carter DID in fact have an ear infection, like I thought, and we started him on antibiotics Tuesday morning.

Then Justin came to visit later on that day. ...

Then we went inside for a snack :) Carter ate his cheerios with a spoon for the first time! Well, this isn’t the first time, but its the first time I’ve snapped pictures of it, lol! I usually feed him with a spoon, but this time he wanted to do it!

After cereal we took and bath and it was time for bed. Well, I thought Carter was doing better this day, but as I was putting him to bed that night, he threw up all over mommy and himself :( He was soo upset and shaking scared after that! I cleaned him up and tried to calm him down! He didn’t fall asleep until 9pm after that and woke up again at 10:30 crying! FINALLY after lots of water, gatorade and comfort he fell asleep at midnight and slept until 7am! It was a long night because I was waking up to check on him and give him Tylenol every few hours…but he didn’t throw up anymore after that.. The next few days were busy and taking care of my baby so I didn’t blog. I was so tired I just went to bed after him every night! But Friday I went back to work and Grammy stayed home with Carter. Friday was the 1st day he seemed more like his normal self and from then on its just gotten better :) Thank God!

Update...

Well, Carter is still sick :( hes been sick since Sunday with an ear infection! I ended up taking him to Patient First (which, I am VERY upset with them) on Sunday morning & they sent us home saying it was just a virus!! The doctor there didnt even check his ears after I told him repeatedly that he gets ear infections alot! So, on Monday I came into work late after feeling uneasy about what that doctor said, so I made him an appointment at his pediatrician. She took one look and sure enough, ear infection! I could kick that doctor for what he did OR, lack there of! SO hes been on an antibiotic for a little over a day now, but still has a fever so I called the doctor back this morning and she said give the medicine 1 more day to work and if he still has a fever tomorrow, bring him back! Please pray that he gets better without having to go back tomorrow! I just came into work for a couple hours and Carter is at home with Daddy. Hopefully when i get off he isnt feverish anymore and doing much better! No pictures right now, but if he is feeling better later I will put some up!
