Happy Birthday Baby!!

 

You are a whole T W O years old today!! I still can’t believe how fast you are growing up. It seems like yesterday when you were just a tiny little thing, so dependent on me. Now, you are a big boy, very outgoing, and you can do things on your own. Everyday you amaze your Dad & I with the things you say and do! We love you more than life itself & hope we can make your birthday as special as you are.

 

Carter’s Birthday Eve!!

 

Two years ago on this night….I was headed to Southern Maryland Hospital to be induced! I still cannot believe that its been 2 years since you were in my belly.

Big belly huh, lol? Yepp, you were in there. All squished, ready to come out.

Now, you are sitting next to me…..

1 day away from your 2nd Birthday. Growing up too fast, if you ask me!

Tonight Carter & I went to CJ’s softball game. The pictures above are from tonight. We sat together on the bleachers and cheered Daddy on. Tomorrow is Carter’s Birthday and I’m taking cookies and cake to the Daycare to celebrate :) I am so glad I am back to blogging and was able to put up this post! I will have more pictures tomorrow of the birthday boy! Ah, I can’t wait for the party Sunday. So much to do, so little time!

Why haven’t I been blogging?

Well, that’s a good question! I haven’t been able to due to our laptop acting up. Live Writer has not allowed me to connect to my blog all week. It has been very frustrating because I have pictures from Mother’s day breakfast, Carter & Adriana’s paydate, and Owens Birthday party to post. AND on top of that, it’s also the week before Carter’s 2nd birthday party. His actual Birthday is two days away now. CJ and Grandad are building him a big swing set, lots of things going on and I would LOVE to update with pictures and stories…..can you tell I’m MAD!!???

Does anyone know if you can buy a laptop for under 300-500$?? If so, I’m there!! GRR….

Wow, what a fun party that was yesterday! Thanks Jelena & Eric for inviting us to join you guys in celebrating Owen’s 1st birthday! We had alot of fun : ) I’m not going to go on and on in this post because its late and i’m tired, lol! So, lets get to the good stuff…the pictures!

A Must Have :)

I haven't shared too many video's on this blog so far. I used to post more back when I had my small digital camera because it was so easy to take video's and upload them. Unfortunately, that one got stolen and our video camera that we have now, as great as it is, it is very confusing when it comes to uploading video's onto blogger. What I REALLY...REALLY want is this Flip Camcorder:

I saw that Nicki got one for Christmas last year and ever since I've been wanting one. They seem so simple to use and are small enough to carry with you where ever you go. Plus, they are actually reasonably priced!!! I already have a big clunky camera bag, so carrying around another big camcorder bag just makes things difficult. However, I feel like I'm missing out on priceless moments everyday when I don't record Carter talking, playing, etc. He says so many funny things all the time that I HAVE to start filming more. Like the other day, we were in Target (again!) and we were waiting in line at Starbucks because he wanted a pound cake. Well, as soon as we got to the register to buy the cake, Carter farted really loud....then he looked at me (laughing!) and says VERY loudly "Mommy, I farted!" Oh my gosh, I couldn't help but start cracking up! Even the guy at the register started laughing! I know I couldn't have gotten that on camera because it was so random, but there are so many other funny moments that I can catch. That's why I want this Flip :)

Mommy-Time!

Wow, Outback probably knows us all by name now! Afterall, this was the third "mommy dinner" in a row there ;) ha!! Who doesn't love Outback though?! Its those darn Walluby Darned's I tell ya, lol!

Play Date!!

Tonight Carter had a play-date with a very pretty little girl…Adriana!

Carl & Denise had a Farmer’s annual dinner to go to tonight and since everyone knows I can’t cook (lol) we went over Ashley’s for dinner & Ryan aka, Chef Ryan cooked for us ; )

While he cooked, the kids played! Carter loved the slide Adriana has in her room…

 After dinner, it was time to say bye-bye. They had to give hugs before we left, aw! haha! 

Our Friday & Saturday…

Our weekend started off with Carter and Daddy pigging out on junk food and making a mess…what boys do best I suppose ;)

Carter brought me home this Art work from Daycare too…. The caption at the bottom is what he told the teacher he drew! Ha!

Saturday morning started bright and early! Carter did sleep in until 7am though, which was nice considering he’s been waking up at 6am even on weekends lately! Anyway, after breakfast we went outside to play! Here is our rose bush we planted last weekend! Its growing lovely!!

Carter and Daddy flew his Spider Man kite since it was so windy out! Grammy got it for him a couple weeks back, but it really hasn’t been windy enough to use until this weekend! Carter did it by himself for a little while too, until he let go…. then it was bye-bye Spider Man! LOL!

&& don’t get me wrong, I adore my camera, but this is why I need a zoom lens! Then, I would’ve been able to get a better shot of this…

              

Later that afternoon after lunch and Carter’s nap, we went to Shamansky’s for Denise’ (Grammy) birthday dinner! It was yummy :) Carter ate popcorn shrimp, crabs, and hush puppies!

My boys
