The wonderful thing about…..

 

Tigger is that carter’s the only one!!! This is what he will be tonight for Halloween :) Isn’t he the cutest Tigger you’ve ever seen?! I think so!! Later I am going to paint his nose and draw some whisker’s though!! We are going to Marbury Baptist Church for the “Trunk or Treat”. I think we are also going to stop by Hooters and visit Aunt Amanda. She said she would give Carter a little cake for halloween :) Well, we have a busy day ahead so I better get off here, just thought I’d finally announce the costume ;) I love Halloween! All summed UP!

Our weekend was pretty relaxed :) Friday we went out to eat at Ledo’s yummm, I love their pizza!! We met Brandy, Alan, Ryder, Steven and Jaime there. I could not get Carter to even take 1 bite of the food, which is unusual for him, but he was really tired. We went to Walmart after dinner and by the time we got home and Carter to bed it was almost 10!! Definitely out of the norm!! Well, Saturday we hung around the house for the most part, until around 12:30/1….We headed out to return the Halloween costume we got from Walmart-it didn’t fit!! Then we went to the Halloween store, & Toys R US. The Halloween store was a mess!! LOL! But Toys R Us had some cute stuff and we finally decided on a costume :) its adorable…but I am waiting until Halloween to show everyone else!! Then Sunday are Fridge stopped working, so we CJ went to Lowes and got a new one, a good deal too!! We set that up for most of the day and then around 3 we left and went to print pictures at Target and get some frames. phew…. long post. With EVEN more pictures!!

Doctor visit

Today I left work at 10:30, came home and picked up CJ & then we headed to pick up Carter from daycare. Today was his appointment with the ENT doctor, Dr. Daidone in Calvert. Fellow mom-blogger Diana referred us to her-she did her son Bryce’s tubes. Well, after seeing her today we both really liked her. She is a very nice lady & extremely gentle with Carter. She didn’t just jump right in like most doctors, she warmed up to him first and because she did that-Carter was very cooperative. She checked his ears & asked us some questions about his history. After that, she told us that it would be best for him to get tubes. I wasn’t really that surprised when she said it though. After all, the poor guy has had SEVEN ear infections since January 09. When I told how many he’s had, she said that usually they encourage tubes if a baby/child has had 3 ear infections in 1 year…Carter has surpassed that already and it hasn’t even been a full year yet!! So, we scheduled his appointment for November 9th. They said they would call a week before to let us know what time to bring him in, but most likely it will be EARLY, like 6:30 am!! That way he doesn’t have to go too long with out eating, since he can’t have anything to eat or drink after midnight. I know it’s probably going to be rough that morning, but in the end it will be worth it. She assured us that this will help him a great deal :) Anyway, here are some pictures from the ride home this afternoon! He was soo tired tonight from this long day that he fell asleep at 7:15pm :)

17 Months Old!

From a baby….

To a Big Boy…

He is growing up right before our eyes :) This toddler is now saying so many words, I’ve lost count! He is putting more and more words together now-a-days! Like “bye daddy” “Eww bug!” “Down pweeees” to name a few!! He also does many "animal impersonations lol & when you ask him how old he is, he holds up his little finger and says "One"!! He is still right around 23 pounds and a little over 30 inches tall-I think 31!! His hair is long & I think it’s going to stay that way for a while ;) He has 10 teeth & eats just about everything!! Although he is pickier lately when it comes to different foods. He sleeps pretty good-for the most part. We still have the occasional rough nights, but's it's okay. He loves the outdoors & definetly knows how to get dirty-but that's little boys for ya!! He is a happy kid, a lovable kid, & our pride and joy! Happy 17 month birthday Carter James!! You are our blessing!!

More swing fun

Finally some sun & nice weather! I know it won’t last for long, but we can enjoy it while its here!! Carter loves his swing so much & LOVES playing outside, that’s all he wants to do when he gets home from daycare :) He brings so much laughter and fun into our family. Tomorrow he will be 17 months old!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Can you believe it?! Neither can I!! Its INSANE how quickly it happens!!! Here are some photo’s from today. This is what we do every night before bed…we read books :) I love this time together, I will cherish it forever!!
