Dinner with the gals & 3 boys!

Tonight we went to Outback for dinner and met some friends :) Originally I was going to leave Carter at home, but he ended up coming with me because daddy was helping Alan & Granny was at the store! Granny actually offered to pick him up from Outback on her way home, but when she called he was being so good I decided to keep him with me!

Well, not even 10 minutes later he had enough of "being good!" haha! I don't want to say he was 'bad' because he's not-he's just a toddler!!! It's to be expected with them at this age! Needless to say, next time I go out for a "girls dinner" I will not be bringing him ;) He can stay home and play with daddy! He would rather do that anyway I'm sure.

After we got home, I gave Carter some of CJ's leftover's..haha... Then, I got him in the tub and put him to bed. Before I put him to sleep, I noticed this little rash on his belly, thighs, & neck. It isn't raised and it doesn't seem like he is itchy. It looks like little redish/pink dots, but again, when I run my hand across it...I feel nothing?! So, I will be keeping a close eye on this, whatever it is! The last time I took him to see Dr. Mena, he had a similar looking rash/spots on his arms. She said it was dry skin. However, I put lotion on this kid religiously!!!! Maybe I need to get him some medicated, ultra moisturizing lotion or something...We'll see!!

Tomorrow is New years eve & I get to leave work early!! Yay! I am going to try and blog with some last cute pictures of my baby in 2009!

Is is Sunday already?

I’m still in shock that Christmas is over & so is the weekend! Its back to work tomorrow already…geez! Why can’t we all have 2 weeks off for the holidays ever year?! That would be nice!

Saturday CJ & I ventured out to the mall and I actually got some things for myself : ) Which was nice! Then we went back home and relaxed!

Today we went to Target and got some pictures printed from Christmas! The whole time in the store, Carter was saying “Hi” to almost everyone we walked past..ahaha! The little old ladies love him! After that, we came back home and ate dinner. I put in one of Carter’s Barney DVD’S on after we ate and cleaned while he watched it. He sat so still and zoned into it…I had to get some pictures of him….

Christmas 2009 Family pictures

Christmas was such a hectic day that by the time it was over, I was too tired to post more pictures! After opening gifts and eating breakfast, we started to get ready for our big day. Carter took a nap around lunch time and while he was sleeping, we showered and cleaned up! We were supposed to eat at 2:00pm, but we didn’t end up eating until around 3:30pm! After dinner at our house, we went to my parents house and by the time we got home…all I wanted to do was hit the sack. I love Christmas, but it is such a busy day-it wears you out!

Carter got some really nice gifts from everyone-Thank you all so much!! We (CJ & I) also got some nice gifts & checks for xmas…thanks again for that-you all know who you are & we love you :) However, even though gifts are nice, we all know the true meaning of Christmas is Jesus and family. We had such a blessed one, I am so thankful for that too!

So, that was our fabulous/fun/hectic/Christmas!! I am so sad that it’s already over, but I can’t wait to see what next year will bring :)

WOW this is alot of pictures!!! Carter woke us up at 6:55am this morning and we went straight upstairs to open gifts! Daddy video taped while mommy helped Carter open his presents! Grammy took pictures!! I swear this morning was amazing :) To see his little face & his excitement, it was priceless! Christmas as a parent is so much more special…Merry Xmas everyone & enjoy these pictures!

Phew….so that was our Christmas morning!!! Very exciting :) Now Carter is playing with his toys and we have to get ready for dinner at 2pm! Then after dinner here, we are going to my parents :) I will have more Christmas day pictures later on…we have a busy day!
